What is a Virtual Office?

Just like the terminology , it’s a “virtual” office address. “Rent” a business address instead of renting a physical office. We at Virtual Office Space provides a Central Registered CBD Address in the prestigious Raffles Quay area.

In Singapore, to carry out a business of any nature, it is mandatory to register with ACRA ( Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority ) formally known as Registry of Companies/ Businesses. Upon Registration it is necessary to provide a “registered office address” and a “principal place of business”. Thus the need of a Virtual Office.

Why use a Virtual Office instead of getting a physical office in the CBD?

Lets illustrate the reason by this example of estimated cost per year

– 500 sq. ft. Office Rental in CBD = S$1200 X 12

– Bare-bone furnishing & renovation = S$3000

– Phone and Fax line= S$50 X 12

– Internet Service = S$160 X 12

– Utilities = S$100 X 12

Total = S$21,120 per year estimated

Our Vision Diamond Plan is at S$188.00 nett per year, in comparison to S$21,120.00. That’s cost effectiveness !

Should I register with ACRA or sign up with VirtualOfficeSpace.com.sg first?

Both ways work, you could sign up a virtual office plan first and give us a call to confirm your company’s registered name anytime after confirmation from ACRA. Please note that all payments must be made within 7 days upon virtual office plan sign up.

When can I use the Registered Address?

The Registered Address can be used instantly after signing up of our virtual office plans.

Can I use the Registered Address for my personal mails ?

We will ONLY process mails that has the registered company’s name printed in the addressee’s details. Example as below;

What is the size of parcel that can be received ?

We allow small parcels (maximum of Inside dimensions: 13.25″ x 11.5″ x 2.38″ or 33.66 cm x 29.21 cm x 6.03 cm) to be received and not more than a reasonable quantity of not more than 3 parcels in our storage at once.

We handle only correspondence mailing items as a virtual office and do not have facilities to handle goods delivery and would advise all clients to route their goods delivery to proper warehouse storage.

Is upgrading of plans available?

Yes of course, all that has to be done would be topping up the difference. No administrative fees would be charged for upgrades of virtual office plans.

How often will you notify us of our mails?

We will notify you of your mails on a daily basis if there is any.

When do you forward out our mails?

For any arrival of postal mails, including courier items and small parcels, we will forward them out on every Wednesday.

If Wednesday is a public holiday or non-working day, mail forwarding will be postponed to the following working day.

How soon will I receive my forwarded mails?

The Postal Service we use is Singapore Post. Local mails forwarded should reach you within 3-4 working days, however delays in mail delivery is expected during public holidays.

As for foreign addresses, forwarded mails are expected to reach you within 10-14 working days. All mails will be delivered via airmail service of Singapore Post.

How safe is the forwarding of mails?

We depend solely on our service provider Singapore Post and have taken all necessary measures to ensure safe delivery of mails, however there are still some instances whereby mails are not received by our clients. We sincerely apologize for such instances.

Will there be any administrative fees charged for mail forwarding?

No, mail forwarding service is free from administrative fees for Vision Diamond Plan and Vision iDiamond Plan subscribers. Postal charges for forwarding will be billed according to Singapore Post rates for normal mail forwarding and will be deducted from client account available credits.

Why are my letters/parcels opened?

At times when there is no indication of company name, we have to open the letters or parcels to determine the addressee. And if there is still no indication in the contents, we may have to contact the sender.

Virtual Office Space respects your privacy and all contents will be kept confidential.

Do you provide courier services if we need our mails urgently?

Yes, we do provide courier services by our courier vendor. Charges will be billed to you accordingly, which is inclusive of an administrative fee. Please contact us if there are any of such requests.

 

How do I book a meeting room?

You may email us or call our office to inform our  staff of the time and date that you wish to book for the board room and other facilities. Please note that all bookings incurred charges and must be made 1 week in advance subject to  availability of the facilities.

What payment modes are available?

We accept the following modes of payment;

  • Direct Bank Transfer/ Wire Transfer / Telegraphic Transfer
  • Cheque Payment
  • Bank Draft / Cashier’s Order / Demand Draft / International Money Order / Postal Order
  • Credit Cards/ Debit Cards
  • Cash

How do I pay by cheque?

Complete the sign up process online via our website, print out the confirmation form and issue the cheque with the amount reflected on the confirmation addressed to Richmond Corporate Advisory Pte. Ltd.

You may then mail it to us or hand it to us at our office directly. We will then inform you upon successful transaction.

What credit cards / debit cards do you accept?

Our payment platform PayPal accepts most major credit cards except Diners and JCB to name a few. Please refer to their website www.paypal.com for further details.

Do you accept NETS payment?

We regret to inform you that NETS payment is currently not accepted.

What banks can I do a Internet Bank Transfer from?

All banks that supports transfers. Do note that we will not be responsible for any transfer fees involved if any.

How does your 30 day Money-back guarantee work?

Within 30 days of sign up, if you are unsatisfied with the quality of our service which is highly unlikely, u will be refunded with the full amount paid for the Vision Gold or Vision Diamond Plan.

For qualified refunds of payment done online, the refunds will be effected by the cancellation of your payment through our payment platform provider. Fees may apply.

After the stipulated 30 days period, refunds will only be available for termination stipulated by Richmond Corporate Advisory Pte. Ltd.
